Future Plan

The role of climate variation on coastal and off-shore processes is not fully understood. This link will be explored for sustainable management of our marine resources. The climate variation impact on the society also will be studied and adaptation-mitigation processes will be analyzed considering the stress of global warming.

Messages to Students

There is need for young graduates to understand the vast potential of studies related to ocean and climate. The future of our society is dependent on the successful and sustainable use of our marine resources. The future generation also has to face the impacts of climate variations more than the present generation. So, I hope young student will devote time and energy to train themselves adequately and develop intense curiosity for research in ocean and climate processes and to develop technical skills in numerical modeling of ocean and climate. I hope students can have fun while learning the new topics in a stress-free educational environment.
