About 9th SJTU-KAIST-UTokyo Joint Academic Symposium

The 9th SJTU-KAIST-UTokyo Joint Academic Symposium (sponsored by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, online) was held on October 28, 2022.
The SJTU-KAIST-UTokyo Joint Academic Symposium is jointly conducted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in China, the Graduate School of Ocean Systems Engineering, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in South Korea, and our university (UTokyo). At this symposium, faculties and students from each university give lectures and presentation on research and education activities, and discuss the future of ocean technology.

 This year, Professor Hideaki Murayama (Department Head), Visiting Professor Takashi Kikuchi, and Associate Professor Yoshihiro Konno gave lectures. Mr. Tomoya Miyashita (2nd year master’s student at Murayama Lab.) was selected as one of the outstanding students in the student presentation, and awardee a prize from this year’s host, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
